Planning for a bucket list trip

Travel expert Chris McGinnis spoke recently with Redpoint Resolutions Vice President Tom Bochnowski about the differences in travel insurance policies, for SFgate.com, the San Francisco Chronicle online. The interview highlights how other policies will typically evacuate you for a medical condition if it is deemed medically necessary by the foreign treating physician, covering your transport to the “nearest appropriate hospital,” while Cavalry does not require the local treating physician to authorize evacuation based on medical necessity. Instead, it empowers the client to make care decisions based on where they want to be treated.
